The second half of Midstates is winding down, sadly, concluding the end of a remarkable ThrillCoaster summer. After having a blast at the Dixie Stampede and Dollywood, we bussed up to King's Island in Cincinatti to take on the park's incredible selection of 13 coasters. After tackling the park, including Diamondback, a fantastic new coaster, we headed to Dave and Buster's for a fun-filed night of games...
We will be heading to Dorney tomorrow, followed by a "see you later" to all of our friends, as we depart back to reality. As much as everyone hates leaving, I'm sure I speak for almost all when I say that we will all leave witth a sense of contentment and excitement to return next year.
As far as life outside the tour goes, I have a brief TOURnament update to pass along. In somewhat of a surprise, Dragster was steamrolled by Alpengeist, which will move on to face the winner of the next matchup, Bizarro at Six Flags New England, and X2 at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Both are world class rides, so be sure to check out the pages to decide for yourself. Also, check out the updated bracket below.
